The spunky singer donned a red, white and blue bustier costume, complete with stars, stripes and a tiny top hat her look with sparkling fishnet tights, glittering red Mary-Jane pumps and nails painted with tiny American flags. She headlined the show and belted out four of her biggest family friendly hits at the packed Washington Convention Center. The venue was filled with kids whose parents are in the military, along with Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia in the front row. Katy Perry often rocks the 1950s pin-up look, which was especially appropriate for the concert honoring military families. The cast of Glee were also present, with actress Amber Riley giving a rendition of Christina Aguilera's hit ballad 'Beautiful'. The event, hosted by Nick Canon, also featured Usher, Far East Movement, and members of the Glee cast. The musician Katy Perry closed out the night with 'Part of Me', 'Firework', 'Teenage Dream' and 'Wide Awake'.
