The show started around 7 PM on 20th January 2013 with Varun Dhawan & Alia Bhatt hosting it and then there is Usha Uthup performance in the starting.
After everyone’s arrived at the award show through the world class Red Carpet, the time came up when awards are ready to give away to the artists. As the red carpet for the most awaited awards of the year was rolled out, there was a star parade that almost blinded us.
While the talented Dashing and refined actor Ranbir Kapoor has once again won the Best Actor Award for his performance in Barfi!, newly-wed Vidya Balan took home the Best Actress Award for her gripping performance in Kahaani, at the 58th Idea Filmfare Awards, held in Mumbai.

Anurag Basu's Barfi! has won maximum nominations, including for best film, best actor, best actress and best director, for the 58th Idea Filmfare Awards 2012. Yash Chopra's last directorial 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' follows close behind.Barfi!, a heart-warming love story of a deaf-and-mute man, essayed by Ranbir Kapoor, with an autistic girl ( Priyanka Chopra) has received nine nods. Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan stands a chance to win across seven categories.

Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan are currently rehearsing for their act for the 58th Idea Filmfare Awards 2012 happening tonight.
